Initiative "Fact Of The Matter"

How do we begin. There is one root cause for the erosion of America and the values on which our nation was founded. Media. It is not a question of singling out a specific "progressive" individual or occurrence, or issue. They all share one common transport. This is not a condemnation of progress as a natural part of the nations evolution. Progress is good when balanced by a moral system of values.

Many of the nations founders recognized the power of media and used it in creating the nation. We must now sacrifice to harness the same power to stop the unrelenting slip into a socialized debt state.

Many times in the past our leaders and fellow countrymen have tried to halt the slippage. The one thing which has always been ignored is filling the vacuum created by the removal of offensive and immoral media. Always the opposite of the desired result was the outcome. Legislating morality does not work. It does not work politically and it does not make sense commercially.

If you remove a film, book, television program through censorship, you are committing he very tyrannical act we stand opposed to. You must develop and offer responsible commercially viable entertainment and information media to fill the vacuum when you create it. If you do not the commercial necessity of the industry will fill it from known and in most cases even more offensive content than was removed with the additional legislative restraint your action has caused to be written into law.

Writing and protesting are not a solution, they are merely something which will temporarily screen further propaganda. In the digital corporate America sponsors rarely back daily or regularly broadcast programs. They buy blocks of advertising time in specific or pool slots. The advertisers who do selectively advertise are very careful as to what they sponsor.

This my friend is another case where we are both the problem and the solution. Media is the one true uniting force that is within our reach. We must decide whether or not we have the will to fight back. Left, right, democrat ,republican ,libertarian, and even communists are parents and want responsible programming available. Producers create programming directed at a particular known audience. No broadcaster wants thousands of irate parents writing letters, but on the other hand the same broadcasters do like that country club.
